Celtic have reportedly been in talks with the agents of Thomas Robert following his trial at Lennoxtown.
The highly-rated Airdrie attacker went with the blessing of manager Ian Murray, who said was a “no-brainer” of a decision.
According to the Daily Record, Robert’s agents have been in talks with Hoops’ Head of Football Operations Nick Hammond.

However, the report claims that no final decision will be made on a contract offer until a director of football and manager are appointed.
Robert was linked with Celtic and Rangers last season as well, but the 20-year-old opted for a surprising move to the Scottish League One side.
He has done well for Airdrie, registering four goals and two assists from 15 appearances, prompting scouts to keep tabs on him.
Robert, son of former Newcastle star Laurent, has reportedly been scouted by Celtic, Rangers, Dundee United, Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts.
TBR View:
Robert told Sky Sports last May that he needs “to prove to everybody that I can play in a bigger team” and admitted that his dream is to play in the English Premier League.
His father, meanwhile, said: “I know he has the quality to play at the highest level.”
So far, Robert has done well in his Scottish football journey, and surely he’s due for a big move in the summer.
