Celtic have reportedly turned their attention to attacker Fousseni Diabate at Premier League club Leicester City.
According to the Daily Record, the 23-year-old is expected to depart Brendan Rodgers’ squad after falling down the pecking order.
It is understood that the Bhoys are “monitoring” him and that manager Neil Lennon is still in the hunt to sign another winger before the summer window shuts.
Diabate is a wide player that is blessed with rapid pace and also tremendous skill, which can see him torment full-backs when in possession.
But he’s struggled with end product during his career and failed to make a serious impact at the King Power Stadium.
The winger has played 19 senior games for the Foxes, scoring just two goals and supplying one assist.

TBR’s View:
Diabate is an intriguing player that has shown very small glimpses of his potential at Leicester and can be a threat on his day, but whether he could make a major impact at Parkhead remains to be seen.
Lennon wants to bring in a wide player still to add to his squad and time is running out to do so.
Diabate would bring some pace and creativity in the final third, but he needs to find a consistency to his game and he hardly set the world alight when he was loaned out to Turkish club Sivasspor last season.
He would need to improve if he joins the Scottish giants, but could be worth a punt if they can strike a deal with Leicester.
