Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer is reportedly on the radar of Italian outfit AC Milan.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Serie A club Milan have the 21-year-old on a two-man defensive shortlist this summer.
It is understood that they have made contact about the centre-back and would like to bring in a young promising talent.
The report also details that Liverpool’s experienced defender Dejan Lovren is another target, but he could cost around £18.3million to prize away from Anfield.
Ajer has emerged on Milan’s radar and he’s developed into a key player at Parkhed in recent times.
The colossus centre-back is a regular starter for the Bhoys, where he’s comfortable in playing out form the back and dominant in the air.
He’s already scored this season in a Champions League qualifying match against Kalju Nomme and is a vital player in defence.
The defender also featured in 45 games across all competitions last season and is a calming influence at the back.

TBR’s View:
Celtic boss Neil Lennon should definitely block any interest in Ajer late in the summer window, as he’s a vital part of the team moving forward into the new season.
The Norway international is already a consistent performer for the Scottish champions aged 21 and he would leave a major void in the backline.
Lennon has to keep him at Parkhead to help his development and also play a role in the club’s push for more domestic dominance in Scotland.
