Celtic speed machine Jeremie Frimpong is reportedly attracting interest from clubs in England.
According to the Scottish Sun, the 19-year-old Hoops star is yet to agree a new deal with the club despite holding talks about a contract extension.
It is claimed that the Scottish champions are braced for interest in the defender and several English Championship teams are monitoring him.
The report adds that Premier League club Southampton are also keeping tabs on the Dutch right-back.
Frimpong, who came through the Manchester City academy before a move to Celtic in 2019, is a highly-rated teenager that is a regular starter at Parkhead already and has European experience under his belt.
He’s a quick full-back that has played 21 games across all competitions already this season for Neil Lennon’s side and clearly has massive potential.

TBR’s View:
With Frimpong’s current contract running until 2023, Celtic are not under immediate pressure to sell him and have time to try make a breakthrough with discussions over a new deal.
But there will surely be a temptation to offload him if Southampton arrive with a big move.
The right-back can look breathtaking when he’s on form and is so effective going forward, but there is still plenty he can improve on his defensive game and right now he’s a part of a team that are massively struggling.
