Report: Celtic defender Jack Hendry wanted by Hearts
Celtic defender Jack Hendry could be offered the chance to join one of the Hoops’ Scottish Premiership rivals this month, with The Scottish Sun reporting that Hearts want the centre-back.
It would be little surprise to see Hendry head for the Parkhead exit this month. He has made just one appearance for the Bhoys this season.

The Scottish Sun reports that Neil Lennon is ready to let the £1 million signing leave during this window. And it is suggested that Hearts are ready to offer him a fresh challenge.
Daniel Stendel’s men face a tough task getting themselves out of trouble in the top flight. They are five points adrift of the relegation play-off place and six behind 10th place St Mirren.

Hendry has been an extremely poor signing for Celtic. It is almost two years since he joined the champions, and in that time, he has made just 15 Premiership appearances.
Celtic would be wise to cash in this month, unless they are prepared to loan him out. The likelihood of recouping anything like what they paid for him seemingly diminishes further as each window passes.
It looks to be time to draw a line under his disappointing time with the club – even if Celtic have to accept a lower fee than they would ideally want.
