Celtic defender Hatem Abd Elhamed is reportedly wanted back on loan by his former club Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
The 29-year-old has endured a difficult time at Parkhead following his move to the Scottish giants in the summer of 2019.
He has struggled to force his way into, and stay in, the starting XI, and also recently admitted that he and his family have failed to settle.

He could now be offered an escape route, with his former club Sheva reportedly making an approach to take him on loan.
That’s the claim from the Daily Record, who say the Israeli outfit would like to insert an option-to-buy clause.
Elhamed is certainly rated by Sheva’s manager Yossi Abukasis, who said: “Hatem is an excellent player that every team would want to sign.
“If we can bring him here to the club it will be a huge blessing for us.”
TBR’s View – It hasn’t worked out
Perhaps Celtic should consider entertaining Sheva’s reported interest in Elhamed, who has struggled for the Hoops.

That he and his family have been unable to settle is a shame, and the suggestion he is not comfortable cannot be good for his state of mind.
He’s made some errors and has also had his injuries problems, so if Celtic can ultimately recoup as much of the £1.6 million they initially spent on him, then that would be great business.
