Celtic are reportedly considering a potential move this summer for Hibernian attacker Kevin Nisbet.

According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic are eyeing a swoop at the end of the season for the 24-year-old star.

It is understood that he’s been presented to Eddie Howe, who will reportedly join as Bhoys manager soon, as a potential summer transfer target.

The report explains that Nisbet is a £3million-rated player, who has a queue of admires looking at him.

Nisbet has scored 18 goals across all competitions so far this season, with two coming against Scottish giants Celtic in two separate league matches.

The Glasgow-born centre-forward is someone who’s earning a reputation that is rising, and he made his senior Scotland debut back in March after a first international call-up.

TBR’s View:

Celtic have been so dominant at domestic level in recent years, which is why it will have stung losing their league crown to rivals Rangers this season in comprehensive fashion.

They are going to need a rebuild over the summer, with English manager Howe looking like the man to oversee that.

Nisbet, who is still relatively inexperienced in the top division, has had an amazing individual campaign which has earned suitors.

It seems unlikely that he’d be ready to move to Celtic to immediately become the first-choice striker, but the potential is certainly there for the rising talent and he would be a superb addition to the squad.
