Celtic are edging closer to winning the race to sign Thomas Henry with The Scottish Sun reporting that the Hoops find themselves in pole position in the battle for the £7 million striker.
Odsonne Edouard remains at Parkhead as the deadline looms on the horizon.

However, it appears that Celtic are still preparing for his departure. And it seems that Henry may be the player brought in as his replacement.
According to The Scottish Sun, the Bhoys lead the race. OH Leuven have reluctantly agreed to sell the 26-year-old.

But they do look set to make a huge profit. The report claims that he is valued at £7 million having arrived for just £400,000 in 2019.
Celtic fans will be excited about Thomas Henry move with early signs suggesting summer spending has been inspired
Henry boasts an outstanding record over the last year or so. The Frenchman scored 21 times in the top flight last season. And he has begun this campaign with three in three.
Admittedly, the outlay is significant. He turns 27 next month, so Ange Postecoglou is not exactly signing a youngster with a lot of room for improvement.
But the early signs suggest Celtic may have done some amazing business in this window.
Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada, in particular, have already made big impacts. And it is hard to find fault in the deals for Joe Hart and James McCarthy.
If Celtic are confident in Henry therefore, it should come as absolutely no surprise if he quickly proves to be an outstanding signing – should they get a deal across the line.
