Cameron Harper is closing in on leaving Celtic, with the Daily Record reporting that a fee for the forward has been agreed with New York Red Bulls.
Harper’s future has been up in the air for some time. The report notes that his current contract with the Hoops is set to expire at the end of the season.

The Daily Record has reported that the Red Bulls wanted to sign the 19-year-old on a pre-contract deal and were close to reaching an agreement.
However, the two clubs have now negotiated a fee to allow the transfer to go through immediately. It is said that Celtic had been hoping to keep the youngster.

Harper made his first-team debut in the 1-1 draw with Hibernian last month.
And with Celtic looking set to go through a period of transition, it seems likely that he would have been in contention for a few more chances before too long.
The Bhoys have suffered a remarkable decline this season. The one positive from that is that there may be an opportunity to put together a new group who, they hope, will take the club back to the Scottish Premiership summit.
Unfortunately for Celtic, Harper looks set to continue his career elsewhere.
