Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti, is looking to complete a squad overhaul this summer and wants his board to go out and sign Lazio striker, Ciro Immobile, as a priority.
According to a report from 90Min, the Toffees boss has highlighted Immobile as the key component in rebuilding at Goodison Park.

After missing out on a top ten finish this term, Ancelotti is desperate to see some movement – both in and out of the club – as he tries to put things right on Merseyside.
The 30-year-old Italian has been in simply breathtaking form this season. He’s managed an impressive 37 goals in all competitions, with 34 of those coming in Serie A. In comparison, Everton’s top goalscorers, Richarlison and Dom Calvert-Lewin, only managed 30 between them all season.

It is clear, then, that Ancelotti sees the need for more goals in his squad. However, it could depend on how willing Farhad Moshiri is to part with more money. The report claims a fee in the region of £50m may be demanded by Lazio.
Everton’s interest follows up on reports in April that they were keen to bring Immobile to the Premier League.
Immobile would be amazing but at £50m, it’s a risk given his age – TBR View
While the signing of Ciro Immobile would, without doubt, raise the bar at Everton, questions would need to be asked if they did indeed spend such a big sum on the player.
The goals are an almost guarantee but at £50m, it’s hardly a long-term investment.
Moshiri has spent a fortune in recent years on the squad at Goodison and seen little in return. And while he does now have a manager in Ancelotti who knows how to win, the Toffees owner does have every right to be a bit sceptical.
However, the Italian is quality. Indeed, his agent branded him the ‘best striker in Europe, not just Italy’ earlier on in the year.
