Everton are reportedly keeping tracks on the potential signature of namesake winger Everton Soares this summer.
The Toffees have been linked with the player in the past but the trail has gone cold regarding a potential transfer in recent weeks.
However, a report from Globoesporte in Brazil this week has suggested that the Toffees are still hopeful of signing the 24-year-old in the next transfer window.
Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly given the thumbs up to a potential move, following up on interest Everton had in the Gremio star in January.

Everton will not be alone. The report also claims that Borussia Dortmund are now back to working on their summer recruitment and see Everton as a potential replacement for Jadon Sancho should the England international head to the Premier League.
The report claims Gremio have the security of a €120 million (£105m) release clause if selling ‘Cebolinha’ to a team in Europe. However, Everton would be hoping to get a reduced price on the Selecao star considering the current financial situation worldwide and Gremio’s own need to make some capital in the next transfer window.
Everton fans will no doubt hope this deal can come off and that the player who shares his name with the club can fit as perfectly as his moniker.
