According to Wales Online, Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts will not be pursued by Cardiff City during the January window.
Various reports had linked Roberts with a move away from Elland Road this week, with the Bluebirds said to be among the clubs keen on signing the Welsh international.

However, Wales Online believe that, while Cardiff rate Roberts highly, they won’t be making a move for him. That could well open the door for the likes of Derby County or Preston to make their move, although Marcelo Bielsa has said he’d like Roberts to stay.
The 21-year-old has slipped down the pecking order this season for Leeds as they continue to do well in the Premier League. However, he has been a crucial member of the squad and has made eight PL appearances so far.

Roberts signed for Leeds from West Brom for a fee thought to be worth around £2.5m back in 2018.

The big question Roberts needs to ask himself this January is if he’d rather be playing regularly for another team, or simply remain part of a Leeds United squad that is enjoying a fine season at the highest level.
He’s definitely a quality player and any Championship club would be delighted to have him on board.
But he can also offer something different to Leeds given he can play as a number ten or a nine. Bielsa clearly likes him, too, which could have a big influence on his future.
