According to The Northern Echo, Jack Ross is ready to sell Sunderland defender Bryan Oviedo this summer with Club Brugge once again keen.
Club Brugge tried to sign Oviedo in January but could not afford that deal. West Bromwich Albion were also linked with Oviedo ended up staying with Sunderland.
But after failing to win promotion via the play-offs, Oviedo looks set to leave. He will be granted a summer exit by Ross, who is looking to shape up his squad for next season.
Oviedo has drifted in and out of the first-team this season. The Costa Rica international has found himself behind Reece James and Denver Hume at times during a difficult campaign.
He played 31 games in all competitions last term, taking his total tally to 77 for the Black Cats. Prior to his move to Wearside, Oviedo played 68 times for Everton.

Sunderland and Ross have been impressed with Oviedo’s professionalism throughout his stay. Despite being part of the team that suffered back-to-back relegations, Oviedo stayed and fought for his spot.
But now, it looks like a summer exit is likely. Once he has returned from the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the 29-year-old’s future is likely to be resolved.
Club Brugge are ready to bring him to Belgium now. They finished second in the Jupiler League and qualified for the Champions League so they can now afford this transfer.
