Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is reportedly “50-50” on leaving Spurs at the end of the season.

Last summer, the 28-year-old’s future at Spurs seemed particularly uncertain.

The Tottenham talisman seemingly wanted to leave Tottenham and join Manchester City.

However, Daniel Levy resisted the Premier League champions’ attempts to sign the striker.

In the end, Kane stayed put at Tottenham, but struggled early on in the campaign.

The England international registered just one goal and one assist up until early December.

Since Antonio Conte took the reins at Spurs, Kane has improved and looks a lot happier.

However, Tottenham have endured another frustrating campaign for the most part.

Spurs are out of Europe and the League Cup, and eighth in the Premier League table following back-to-back home defeats to Southampton and Wolves.

This week, Conte reiterated the need for “a lot of patience” in getting Tottenham back to the top.

According to the Evening Standard, Kane is currently not interested in discussing a contract extension and will wait until the end of the season.

He is now thought to be “50-50” on whether he can fulfil his ambitions at his boyhood club.

Kane would potentially be encouraged to commit to Spurs if they can win this season’s FA Cup, with a fifth-round tie at Middlesbrough on 1 March.

The choice would reportedly also hinge on how much backing Conte gets in the summer window.

It is also unclear whether City would reignite their interest in the “brilliant” striker, who will be 29 in July.

Pep Guardiola’s charges have coped well without a recognised centre-forward this season.
