West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen’s agents have apparently offered Liverpool encouragement to sign their client, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Encouragement given
Bowen has the same agents as Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, which means Liverpool know them well.
The newspaper reports that the West Ham forward is very much on Liverpool’s radar this summer.
They say that the Reds’ recruitment staff feel that he could be the ideal addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
There is also a feeling that Bowen may be happy to accept terms as a back-up player initially, rather than be demanding a first team place, and that could suit Liverpool.
Bowen in?
With Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane at the club, any attacker Liverpool do buy is likely to need to remain patient in their first few months at the club, as Diogo Jota did last year.
And there is a suggestion that Bowen doesn’t quite have the reputation yet to be making any demands over game time, despite Gary Neville calling him ‘brilliant’ last season (Sky).

Unfortunately for Liverpool pulling off a deal will not be easy though.
West Ham are likely to want to keep hold of Bowen, who they only signed 18 months ago.
During that time he has become a key player for David Moyes’ side and become an integral part of their side.
If Bowen was to move to Liverpool he would have the same hard-working ethos that Klopp demands from his players.
However, he may not be of the standard required to immediately improve their first-team and take them on to new heights.
