Championship outfit Brentford are reportedly monitoring the progress of Aston Villa winger Andre Green.
The 21-year-old is currently out on loan at Preston North End, where he has had a tough start to the 2019/10 campaign.
The former England U20 international has made just six appearances at Deepdale, only one of which has been a league start.

His last appearance was a one-minute cameo against Leeds United back in October – since then, he hasn’t made a single matchday squad.
Villa are understood to be considering recalling him, and The Richmond and Twickenham Times report Brentford are keen to land the Solihull-born star next month.
Green’s current contract at Villa Park expires next summer, which could mean a possible cut-price January deal is on the cards.
TBR’s view – Villa surely have to cash in
Green arguably hasn’t shown enough over the past couple years to warrant his contract being extended by Villa.

Dean Smith now has wide options such as Anward El Ghazi, Jota and Trezeguet to turn to, with captain Jack Grealish also capable of playing on the left.
Supposedly Green is also being tracked by Stuttgart, Utrecht and Zulte, meaning there could be an outside chance of getting a decent fee for the former academy prospect.
