Tottenham Hotspur want three players from Bournemouth, according to reports. The Sun claims that Nathan Ake, David Brooks and Callum Wilson all feature on Spurs’ wishlist.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are ready to big this summer. After falling narrowly short of winning the Champions League, they need to strengthen to compete again next season.
Ake is one of their summer targets. Doubt surrounds the future of Toby Alderweireld and a new centre-back could be needed before next season.
Spurs are reportedly ready to bid £40m for Ake. The Netherlands international has enjoyed an impressive season at Bournemouth and he will not leave on the cheap.
Tottenham are hoping to take advantage of Chelsea’s transfer ban in this pursuit. The Blues also want to bring the 24-year-old back to Stamford Bridge but cannot sign players at the moment.
In addition to Ake, Spurs also hold an interest in Brooks and Wilson. However, there are no suggestions yet that a bid is set to follow.
Brooks joined the Cherries last summer from Sheffield United. And the Wales international caught the eye with seven goals and five assists in 33 matches.
Meanwhile, Wilson could bolster Tottenham’s striker ranks. Harry Kane had his injury concerns next season and Wilson could have filled the void.
The 27-year-old England international, formerly of Coventry City, scored 15 goals in 33 games last season, as well as providing 10 assists.
