Celtic are still trying to sign Jordon Ibe before the deadline. According to The Scottish Sun, this move could still be on but Celtic face an anxious wait to see if Eddie Howe will let him go.
Howe is concerned by the size of his squad and could keep Ibe if he feels he does not have adequate cover. Ibe has played 21 minutes of football this season but he is clearly not a first-choice player.
Celtic want to offer the 23-year-old a lifeline in Glasgow. The Bhoys are ready to sign Ibe on loan and the player is keen for the move. However, it all depends on whether Howe is willing to let him go.

Ibe has played a total of 89 games for Bournemouth since his 2016 move from Liverpool, scoring five goals and setting up nine more. He also has senior experience playing at Wycombe Wanderers, Liverpool, Birmingham City and Derby County. But his next challenge could be in the Scottish Premiership.
TBR’s view
Ibe has plenty of raw talent but he has not been able to perform consistently for Bournemouth. Perhaps a change of scenery could help the ex-England U21 winger fulfil his potential.
Any potential switch to Celtic throws the futures of Marian Shved and Scott Sinclair into doubt. Both players have been shunned by Neil Lennon for much of this season and would surely fall further down the pecking order.
