French midfielder, Boubakary Soumare, is reportedly eyeing a move to either Liverpool or Man United after rejecting the chance to join Newcastle on deadline day.
The 20-year-old reportedly turned down advances from the Magpies in the final hours of the window.

That means Soumare will remain at Lille for the rest of the campaign. All eyes, then, will now be on whether a summer move materialises for the highly-rated midfielder.
However, according to a report from the French outlet, Le10 Sport, Soumare is already eyeing his next move and his heart set on two of England’s giants.
Both Liverpool and Manchester United top the list of potential destinations for the youngster. It’s an obvious call to make for Soumare, who will be admiring Liverpool’s form from afar.
For Man United, Soumare might well see a gap in the team and a chance for regular football.

Predominantly a battling box-to-box midfielder, Soumare is very much in the mould of the likes of Wilfred Ndidi and Ngolo Kante. Both of those players have gone on to be huge successes in the Premier League.
It remains to be seen, however, if United or the Reds will make a move for the French prospect.

Both United and Liverpool will probably need to invest in the summer.
For United, it’s about improving a squad which desperately needs quality if they are to get back to fighting for titles and trophies in the near future. At just 20, Soumare fits the profile of a player the Red Devils have tried to sign in recent times.
Liverpool, on the other hand, aren’t desperate when it comes to midfielders. However, with the likes of James Milner well into their 30s and both Wijnaldum and Henderson pushing 30, a younger option might be needed.
Soumare, then, could fit the bill perfectly for Jurgen Klopp. He does have Naby Keita on the books, but he’s not exactly lit up Anfield.
One thing is for sure here, Soumare is certainly putting himself in the shop window.
