Arsenal could face trouble when it comes to signing Martin Odegaard on a permanent basis, with Defensa Central claiming Borussia Dortmund have asked about the Norwegian.
The Spanish outlet claim that the German giants have approached Real Madrid about a deal for Odegaard. Any deal, of course, is dependant on Madrid deciding they are happy to lose Odegaard permanently.
Odegaard, 22, moved to Arsenal during the January transfer window and has impressed lately. He scored a thunderbolt in midweek as Arsenal saw off Olympiakos in the Europa League.

But his future remains a bone of contention for Mikel Arteta. It remains to be seen if Real will let Odegaard go, while it also remains to be seen if the Gunners could even fund a deal.
Dortmund’s interest, then, will be of concern to the Gunners. The Champions League winners have admired Odegaard for some time and have a knack for snapping up top young talent.
TBR View: Odegaard is surely a must sign player for Arsenal this summer?
Given the impact he’s already had, surely Odegaard has to be top of the list for Arsenal this summer?
Sure, other clubs will likely be interested, especially given he’s started to play well. But surely the fact he’s settled in well in London, looks at home, and has spoken so highly of Mikel Arteta, gives the Gunners an edge here.
If Arsenal did lose out on Odegaard to another club, it would certainly not go down well among the Arsenal faithful.
