Arsenal could beat Manchester United to the signing of Corentin Tolisso this summer, with Bayern Munich willing to offer him in exchange for Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin has faced an uncertain future all summer long. Moves to Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid have failed to materialise as yet, while Mikel Arteta also left the Spaniard out last night at Brentford.
And now, Calciomercato claim that Bayern could be willing to offer Arsenal the services of Tolisso, in order to land Bellerin.

Tolisso, who won the World Cup with France in 2018, signed for Bayern for around £35m back in 2017. However, he’s not quite hit the heights expected, although he has won four Bundesliga titles.
It’s now claimed that Bayern could be willing to let Tolisso go for as little as £10m. Manchester United and Arsenal have both been linked, but it appears the Gunners may hold an ace in the pack with Bellerin.
Arsenal are believed to value Bellerin around £20m. It means, then, that Bayern could well fancy their chances of convincing the Gunners to do business.
Not the worst idea for Arsenal
If Arsenal want Bellerin to go – as we assume – then getting Tolisso and a bit of money in exchange might be a decent return.
Tolisso’s versatility means he can offer the Gunners plenty of options. He’s also experienced and has a winning mentality, with World Cups, Champions Leagues, and league titles, all on his CV.
At 27, he’s the ideal age as well. If this offer is realistically on the table, then Arsenal, Edu, and Arteta, need to seriously consider it.
