French website Le10Sport have claimed that Bayern Munich are looking to raid Tottenham Hotspur this summer in a bid to sign midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on loan – and have also targeted Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Ndombele, 23, joined Tottenham for a club-record fee last summer from Lyon after starring for the French side in the 2018-19 Champions League. He has since struggled since Jose Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino.
He has since played 29 times for Spurs, scoring two goals. He was eyed as Mousa Dembele’s replacement but he has managed just two substitute appearances since the return to football – remaining an unused sub four times.
The France cap has been linked with Barcelona ahead of the summer window, as well as PSG. But now, Bayern have thrown their hat into the ring as they look to replace Thiago, Javi Martinez and possibly Corentin Tolisso.

TBR’s view – Ndombele should look at Coutinho as example
Bayern have brought in two big-name midfielders on loan in recent years from Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively – namely James Rodriguez and Philippe Coutinho, both of whom have been linked with Spurs.
Since their loan spells at Bayern, things have gone downhill. James is completely out of favour at Real and with Coutinho being offered to all those who can afford him – it is clear his career has stuttered quite dramatically.
A loan to Bayern looks exciting on paper, but Ndombele needs to find a permanent home – which can still be Spurs.
