Arsenal face an increasingly difficult fight to keep hold of Folarin Balogun, with Bayer Leverkusen the latest to make their interest known.
According to a report from The Mirror, Leverkusen are among a number of clubs prepared to make Balogun a ‘lucrative offer’ to make the move away from north London.

Other European sides such as Rennes and Stuttgart are said to be keen, per the Mirror, while in the past the likes of RB Leipzig have registered an interest in the young striker.
Balogun has yet to sign new terms with Arsenal. However, Mikel Arteta did admit in his press conference yesterday that he is hopeful of Balogun signing a new deal with the club before the summer.

Arsenal risk losing the young striker for nothing. Balogun is apparently keen to be given first-team chances but has, so far, found those opportunites more than limited this term.
TBR View: Arteta confident, but Arsenal fans should worry about Balogun
Of course, at the moment, Balogun is just a promising talent for the Gunners so it may be that if he does move on, he ends up doing little of note anyway.
However, the club, and Arteta, seem to rate him highly. That suggests there is something in the locker with Balogun that few players seem to have.
The problem here is that it has lingered on for so long. Balogun is clearly tempted to move away, and Leverkusen are a big name in Germany who have had some fine players in their history.
