FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette as a replacement for Martin Braithwaite.
According to Sport, the European giants are keen on both Arsenal attackers. However, they will only be able to sign one or another if Braithwaite is sold.
The Danish international is one of many players Ronald Koeman’s side want to sell this window. Barcelona desperately have to lower their wage bill.
Moreover, Barcelona won’t be able to offer up a transfer fee to Arsenal for Aubameyang or Lacazette. Rather they will allow Mikel Arteta to select a player in the Catalan squad to conduct a swap deal with.

Aubameyang has previously been a target for Barcelona. However, due to the club’s dire financial problems, a deal never happened. Lacazette, meanwhile, is reportedly available for transfer this summer.
Arsenal are keen to sign a striker this summer. The likes of Tammy Abraham and Lautaro Martinez have both being linked to the club in recent weeks.
However, the main emphasis has been that the Gunners must sell before they can buy in this position. As well as Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah is open to leave should an offer come in for the young Arsenal attacker.

Indeed, Barcelona’s interest in Lacazette and Aubameyang is a surprise.
However, with the club unable to offer actual money for either player, Arsenal could shut down the La Liga side if they were to approach this summer.
