Barcelona are still waiting for Leeds United to accept their bid for Raphinha, with the Catalan giants’ offer worth much less than what is on the table from both Arsenal and Tottenham, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.
Raphinha’s future looked to be heading towards a resolution at long last. Reports over the weekend claimed that Barca had reached an agreement with Leeds over a deal worth up to £63.5 million.

It has been apparent for some time that Raphinha wants to move to the Camp Nou. So the two clubs agreeing a fee appeared to be the final significant hurdle holding up a deal.
However, it seems that talk of an agreement may have actually been premature. Mundo Deportivo reports that a source close to the player claimed that a deal is not yet finalised. And the ball is in Leeds’ court with Barcelona awaiting an answer to their bid.

Worryingly for the Whites, the report claims that Barcelona’s offer could reach £50.7 million. Clearly, that is significantly lower than previously thought.
And interestingly, Mundo Deportivo lists Tottenham and Arsenal as clubs who have made much larger offers. Chelsea are also there, having previously led the race before Barcelona stepped up their interest.
Raphinha can hardly be happy with Barcelona
Obviously, Raphinha wants to join Barcelona. And he may be hoping that Leeds are open to compromising to ensure that he gets his dream move.
However, surely the Brazilian cannot be too happy with the Catalan club. If they were that desperate to sign him, they would put the money on the table that at least matches what is being offered elsewhere.
Raphinha is an ‘amazing‘ player. And clearly, he is attracting plenty of interest in the Premier League.
Leeds have done their bit by agreeing a deal with Chelsea after their asking price was met. And surely, Leeds would prefer to sell him to a club outside of the Premier League.
This is on Barcelona if they are not willing to match the Blues’ bid. Raphinha will surely see that.
