Joan Laporta reportedly wants to sign Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, if he wins his bid to be re-elected as the president of Barcelona.
The Mirror have claimed the 58-year-old – who is the favourite – is keen to bring the Spaniard back to where it all began for a fee of around £22 million with add-ons.
Sources in Spain say there is an agreement between Bellerin’s representatives and the club to try and negotiate a deal.

The 25-year-old is supposedly open to returning to the Catalan giants.
Were any move to happen though, it would be next summer with Bellerin supposedly unwilling to move mid-season.
Bellerin has been with Arsenal since coming from Barca at the age of 16.
The £110,000-a-week star (Spotrac) made a really bright start to his Emirates career, but has been criticised in recent times for lacking consistency.
Arguably, the serious knee injury he sustained against in January 2019 has not helped his cause.
TBR’s View – Arsenal have to consider selling
Bellerin is very well liked by Arsenal supporters, but unfortunately his performances in recent times have fallen short of the level expected.

It is a big shame given the promise he showed a couple of years back.
He could well turn things around between now and next summer, but Arsenal have got to be thinking about potentially selling if the price is right.
