Everton have been handed a transfer boost with news emerging from Spain that Barcelona are indeed prepared to sell their French defender, Jean-Clair Todibo.
The Catalan giants are desperate to raise funds this summer and according to Radio Catalunya Sport, are willing to sell Todibo in order to bring some income into the club.

It is claimed that Barca sees value in the 20-year-old. Todibo has spent the season on loan with Schalke 04 in Germany but the Bundesliga club opted against making a £25m deal happen.
That means Todibo is back at the Nou Camp and with Everton reportedly interested, a move to Goodison Park could well be back on the cards.
The Sun claimed back in May that Everton were preparing a £20m bid for the Frenchman. While last month, Mundo Deportivo reported that Wolves were also keen on the defender.

Todibo joined Barcelona from Toulouse. He is highly-rated by his national team, having represented France up to an under-20 level so far. He has a contract at the Nou Camp until 2023. (transfermarkt)
A deal is there to be done but is Todibo the man for Everton? – TBR View
It’s certainly an interesting question to pose and one only Carlo Ancelotti will know the answer to.
Michael Keane has been pretty good since lockdown while Mason Holgate has emerged as a key performer this season. Those two, added with Yerry Mina, mean the club do have options at centre-back.
There is little doubt that Todibo is a talent. He has been compared to Marcel Desailly previously. But are Everton going to pay out another £20m on someone who isn’t guaranteed to get into their XI? We aren’t so sure.
One to keep an eye on. But also one the Toffees might well walk away from.
