Report: Barcelona make move for £90,000-a-week Liverpool star
Gini Wijnaldum could be on his way out of Liverpool.
In a frustrating season for the defending champions, Wijnaldum has made 40 appearances, scoring three times.
While their defence of the title has long since crumbled, Jurgen Klopp’s side retain an interest in the Champions League.
Wijnaldum and his colleagues take on Real Madrid in the quarter-final next month, and as of next season he could be taking on Los Blancos in El Clásico.
That’s according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, who report that Barca boss Ronald Koeman is a fan of his fellow Dutchman.
The player’s contract expires this summer, which means the cash-strapped La Liga side would not have to pay a transfer fee.
Mundo Deportivo claim that the 30-year-old would be offered a three-year contract at the Nou Camp.
