Manchester City duo, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan, are both wanted by Barcelona this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Sport claim that both Gundogan and Jesus are on Barca’s radar. Their interest comes off the back of reported interest in another City star, Aymeric Laporte.
City are expected to busy in the market this summer. A number of players, such as Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, have been linked with moves to The Etihad.

But a number of players are also being tipped to attract bids. Laporte is one, having played a bit part all season. And now, it seems Jesus and Gundogan could also be offered routes out of Manchester.
The sale of Gundogan would be the biggest surprise of the three. The German midfielder enjoyed a stellar campaign, with Pep Guardiola lauding him as ‘incredible’ following a Champions League win against ‘Gladbach.
Gabriel Jesus, meanwhile, is another who could be tempted to go. The Brazil star has, like Laporte, played less of a role than he’d have liked. Indeed, even with Sergio Aguero injured, Guardiola often opted for a ‘false 9’ ahead of Jesus.
Barcelona have reportedly just missed out on Gini Wijnaldum. The Spanish giants, it seems, see Gundogan as the ideal player to move for instead.
No chance City sell Gundogan to Barcelona but Jesus could be another matter
It would be truly amazing to see City sell Gundogan. He’s simply too important a player and will surely play a big role again next season.
However, with Gabriel Jesus, you can see him going. The striker has never quite hit the heights of a Sergio Aguero, and often cuts a frustrated figure.
Barcelona remain a huge club. Despite financial problems, they’re still a huge draw. Further, the chance to play with Messi might well be enticing.
So, while City might sign a few themselves this summer, it won’t surprise too many people if someone like Jesus makes way.
