Atletico Madrid appear to have beaten Spurs to the signature of Dusan Vlahovic with Corriere dello Sport reporting that they have agreed a fee of around £60 million.
Vlahovic continues to be one of Europe’s hottest properties. He went into the summer off the back of a campaign in which he scored 21 goals for Fiorentina in Serie A.

Corriere dello Sport notes that he has attracted interest from Tottenham and Arsenal, amongst others.
However, most of his admirers are set for imminent disappointment.
According to the Italian outlet, a move to Atletico is a done deal. A fee of €70 million has been agreed.

It is suggested that the last hurdle is the green light from Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso.
Blow for Spurs as Atletico Madrid close in on Vlahovic
The biggest issue for Spurs to address this summer is the future of Harry Kane. But Tottenham arguably need at least one striker – even if he stays.
So Vlahovic would have been an outstanding signing. It is frightening to think that he is still only 21.
So it is a huge blow that he looks to be closing in on moving to the Spanish capital.
Of course, Atleti can offer Champions League football this season. And they go into this campaign off the back of winning the La Liga title.
So you can understand why a move to Diego Simeone’s side would appeal to Vlahovic.
Tottenham fans will now be anxious to see where Fabio Paratici looks. They will be hoping that the Italian has something special up his sleeve with Vlahovic seemingly heading elsewhere.
