Atalanta are willing to invest €40m (£34m) in Arsenal target Tammy Abraham.
What’s the story?
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Chelsea striker wants to play Champions League. The Serie A outfit want to ensure they can sign the England international before letting Duvan Zapata.
It’s claimed the Blues prefer to sell the player abroad amid interest from the Premier League.
Aston Villa, West Ham and Arsenal are the three clubs extremely keen on the centre-forward. The Gunners are said to be keen on boosting the player’s current wage salary by £45k-per-week.
Meanwhile, the west Londoners slashed their asking price for this player. They were initially demanding £40m, however, are now asking for £35m.

Arsenal have advantage over Atalanta in Abraham race
Whilst playing amongst the elite of European football is a draw, Arsenal have an advantage over Atalanta for Abraham.
The fact they are his boyhood club give them a massive boost in the race for the 23-year-old. There was a very famous tweet from the figure over playing for Chelsea whilst being a supporter of the N5 giants back in 2012.
And the club is based in London, a city very much familiar to the ace born in the capital.
But, the biggest reason Mikel Arteta’s team have an advantage is the fact they play in the Premier League. Abraham has already established himself as a consistent performer in England’s top-flight. He can continue that with Arsenal, who are looking for a new number nine this summer.
