Aston Villa and West Ham are amongst a host of Premier League clubs who have Josh Brownhill on their radar heading into the summer, with TEAMtalk reporting that Wolves and Southampton are also admirers of the midfielder.
The 25-year-old has been hugely impressive since joining Burnley last January. The midfielder has made 23 appearances in the Premier League this season.

But it appears that the Clarets are set to face a fight to keep the former Bristol City man. TEAMtalk reports that Villa, the Hammers, the Saints and Wolves have all scouted him in recent months.
The report also names Crystal Palace as admirers.
It remains to be seen if any of the quintet test Burnley’s resolve to keep Brownhill in the summer.

As noted by BBC Sport, Sean Dyche’s men paid £9 million for the former Manchester United trainee. So you would imagine that they would want to be offered the chance to make a significant profit before they agree to let him go.
Villa’s potential interest is quite intriguing. Dean Smith boasts plenty of options in midfield right now, particularly after adding Morgan Sanson to the ranks in January.
Elsewhere, both West Ham and Southampton will surely be on the lookout to bolster their numbers in the middle of the park this summer.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have endured a miserable time with injuries this season. And the Hammers seem to boast little depth beyond their outstanding frontline options.
And Brownhill’s form this season hints that he could be a very good signing for someone when the window opens up again.
