Reported Aston Villa target Milot Rashica is reportedly set to join Bayer Leverkusen ‘imminently’.
The Werder Bremen star is claimed by Sky Germany to be Bayer Leverkusen-bound, after being linked with a move to Villa Park for weeks.
A Deadline Day move was always going to be unlikely after Dean Smith’s post-Liverpool comments, and confirmation could soon come that Kosovo international will seal a move elsewhere.

The development is unlikely to bother too many Villa supporters, who are still on a high after demolishing Liverpool 7-2 in the Premier League last night.
It had previously been claimed that Rashica was stalling a potential move to Villa over fears of being part of a relegation battle.
For many, that was enough for fans to become alienated.
TBR’s View – Villa in good shape without Rashica
So it looks as though Rashica will not be making any last-ditch move to Villa – but fans won’t be too concerned.

The club have obviously started fantastically this season, and Dean Smith has plenty of quality in the wide and attacking midfield positions.
Maybe Rashica will shine with Bayer, but right now Villa are in good shape without the 24-year-old.
