Everton and Celtic are both interested in Tyreik Wright, with the Daily Mail reporting that the youngster’s Aston Villa contract expires at the end of the season.
Wright is yet to make his first-team debut for the Villans. But he has caught the eye for their under-23s this season, scoring twice and contributing two assists in Premier League 2.

His form led to a loan move to Walsall in January. He is yet to open his account for the Saddlers. But he has provided an assist in both of his first two appearances for the League Two outfit.
And it now appears that Villa face a fight to keep the 19-year-old. According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees and Hoops are amongst a group of clubs monitoring the winger.

The report adds that he is set to become a free agent in the summer.
It is not made clear whether Villa plan to offer Wright fresh terms. But given the stature of the clubs reportedly interested, it would hardly be a surprise if they did indeed want to keep him.
Everton may have to wait until the summer to make a move. But, given his contract situation, Celtic are presumably able to initiate talks at any stage.
That may hand the Scottish Premiership champions an advantage in the race. But it appears that Wright is bound to have plenty of very appealing options on the table.
