Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings has reportedly emerged as a possible target for Manchester United.
According to The Daily Star, the England international is being monitored by the Red Devils, who have also shortlisted other Three Lions stars James Maddison and Jadon Sancho.

Mings has largely been in inspired form for the Villans this season.
He recently picked up a hamstring injury which has forced him to miss the last three Premier League games, but before that he had been one of Villa’s top performers.
His form has apparently led to interest from United, who haven’t improved at the back as expected following the summer signing of Harry Maguire.
TBR’s view – Villa cannot sell
Villa would be fools to entertain any interest in Mings next month.

He has been solid ever since arriving on an initial loan from Bournemouth last season, and his form is going to be key to Villa’s survival hopes.
United could come in with a big cash offer. The temptation might be there, but Dean Smith simply cannot take the risk of losing Mings and hoping to reinvest in someone else.
Another reason why it’s important for Villa to keep hold of £20 million signing Mings (BBC Sport) is that he is one of the few players in the squad with previous experience of playing in the Premier League.
