Aston Villa are set to launch an £18m bid for Werder Bremen star, Milot Rashica, as Dean Smith looks to add further attacking quality to his team.
The Villans completed a big-money deal for Ollie Watkins just this week. But it appears that Villa are not quite done in the transfer market, with Bild claiming an £18m bid is being readied by the club for Rashica.

Villa’s opening bid could well be short of the valuation the German outfit have for Rashica. Indeed, just yesterday, it was claimed the Bundesliga side are looking for closer to £27m for the Kosovo star.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder was in exceptional form last season as he scored eleven goals and contributed a further eight assists in an excellent season for him personally in Bremen.

However, the club in general struggled and they could now be ready to cash in on Rashica. The midfielder can play in a number of positions, namely a number ten role or wide down the left.
This is superb business if it comes off, Villa have genuine goal threats – TBR View
Villa were always going to spend big money again this summer and it looks like Dean Smith has been backed once again by the club’s wealthy owners.
Rashica is a superb talent who has been courted by a number of clubs this summer. For Villa to win the race for him, then, would represent a huge piece of business for the club.
With Rashica backing up Ollie Watkins and Jack Grealish still on board, Villa boss Smith will have high hopes of avoiding a relegation scrap this term.
