Aston Villa are interested in Divock Origi, with the Daily Mirror reporting that they could consider making a move for the Belgian should Liverpool decide to let him leave this summer.
Dean Smith’s men will surely be very keen to sign a new striker during this window. Jack Grealish ended last season as Villa’s top goalscorer in the Premier League with eight strikes to his name.

Neither Wesley or Mbwana Samatta managed to impress following their moves.
The Daily Mirror reports that Ollie Watkins is wanted by the Villans. But it is suggested that they are also monitoring Origi.

It is suggested that a move for the 25-year-old may be made if the Reds are willing to let him move on.
TBR View: Liverpool face tricky decision on Origi
Origi – who earns £45,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – featured 28 times in the Premier League last season. However, he made just seven starts in the top flight.
The Mirror notes that Origi is keen to play more often. So Jurgen Klopp’s men may face a tricky decision regarding what to do with the striker this summer.
He has proved to be a very capable understudy for the champions. And anyone coming in to replace him will be aware that they face a huge battle trying to play regularly for the Reds.
But Liverpool may also be tempted to cash in to help fund their own plans this summer. So perhaps they may be open to listening to offers for Origi during this window.
