Aston Villa have already signed Birmingham’s Jota in this summer transfer window and are now reportedly lining up another attacker in the shape of Brentford’s Said Benrahma.
According to Le 10 Sport, the Midlands giants have made an £8.9million bid for the Brentford winger.
It is understood that there could be other interest from other clubs in the coming days.
The Algerian is an assist machine that just enjoyed a brilliant campaign with Brentford and it was current Aston Villa boss Dean Smith that signed him for the Bees.
Benrahma made 45 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 11 goals and supplying 17 assists in return.
He is a skilful wide man that ripped apart defences in the Championship and could be given the opportunity to prove himself in the Premier League.

TBR’s View:
Villa are already busy at work trying to build a squad that can compete in the top-flight next season and winger Jota is already a fresh face to come through the entrance doors.
Benrahma made a huge impression during his first season in English football this year, with his low centre of gravity and creativity in the final third.
He would add some extra flair to Villa going forward and snapping him up for under £10million could be a strong investment.
But he’s only got a limited amount of experience in top-flight football in France and Smith needs to ensure he brings in some players with Premier League know-how too if he can.
