Aston Villa are reportedly interested in a potential move for Huddersfield Town attacker Karlan Grant in the summer.
According to Sky Sports, Villa and Midlands rivals West Brom are both targeting a deal for the 22-year-old at the end of the season.
It is understood that Fulham are also mentioned as potential admirers and could enter the chase for him too.
Grant previously had a brief experience of Premier League football last season, scoring four goals in 13 top-flight games for Huddersfield and was unable to save them from relegation.
The English attacker has been influential for them this campaign, scoring 16 goals in 35 games across all competitions and his side have been drawn into another relegation battle in the Championship.
But he’s a standout star in the second-tier that is capable of playing at a higher level, with his pace and movement around the box a real positive.

TBR’s View:
Villa need to focus on keeping themselves in the Premier League at the moment, as they sit in a relegation spot two points from safety and face a tough ask to stay up.
But Huddersfield frontman Grant looks like the type of player that would be a good signing for them regardless of which division they are in next year.
Grant has shown in the past he’s capable of playing as a centre-forward through the middle and has the ability to cause havoc in behind.
But more recently he’s continued to be a goal threat as a left-winger and the wide areas are certainly a main position that Villa are lacking quality.
