Aston Villa may reportedly join the race to try sign centre-forward Eddie Nketiah in January from Premier League side Arsenal.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship leaders Leeds United, but he was recalled in January by the Gunners due to a lack of minutes and is currently back at the Emirates Stadium.
According to Bristol Live, Championship outfit Bristol City have agreed a deal to take Nketiah on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
It is understood though that Villa are considering a move for the England Under-21 international and need reinforcements after losing their forward Wesley Moraes through injury.
The report also details that Norwich City also want the Arsenal star and there are suggestions that they lead the chase for him.

TBR’s View:
Villa could do with a new forward through the doors this month and Nketiah is a surprising new name to pop up as a potential target for the Midlands clubs.
He is a rapid centre-forward that thrives around the penalty area and is a natural finisher in the 18-yard box.
Despite playing second fiddle during his loan at Elland Road, he scored five goals in 19 games for Leeds before returning to Arsenal.
There is no doubt he’s got the kind of intelligent movement already to his game that could see him make an impact in the top-flight, which is why Villa should try get a loan deal over the line if they can to help their fight against relegation.
