Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is reportedly set to be a priority target for Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer.

According to the Mirror, United are expected to make a “huge summer bid” for the 24-year-old at the end of the season when the transfer window re-opens.

It is understood that they may have to move away from target James Maddison, who is close to signing a new contract with Leicester City.

The report explains that United could prioritise a move for Grealish, but that a number of top clubs are already interested in him.

The Mirror adds that Grealish is likely to be sold if his boyhood club Villa do suffer relegation from the top-flight, but offers are expected regardless during the summer.

TBR’s View:

Grealish has been in sensational form this season for Villa and supporters should just continue enjoying him while they stay can.

The attacking midfielder is going to give everything to try keep the club in the Premier League during the rest of the season, as well as leading his team out against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.

He’s been the outstanding individual in Dean Smith’s team this season, scoring nine goals and supplying seven assists in 27 games across all competitions.

Grealish will surely earn a first senior England cap imminently and he does look destined to make a big money transfer in the future considering his talent.
