There are four Premier League clubs chasing Derby County defender Jayden Bogle ahead of Thursday’s deadline, according to TEAMtalk. Derby have been approached by one unnamed Premier League side and they are expecting bids.
Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are all interested in Bogle. There could be a late move in the summer transfer window involving one of these sides.
Bogle broke into the Derby first-team last season under Frank Lampard and established himself as a regular in the right-back spot. He played 50 matches, scoring twice and providing nine assists as an attack-minded modern-day full-back.

But Derby – who fell short in the play-off last season – could lose their academy graduate this summer. The 19-year-old has been tracked for a while now but Derby have held firm so far. Philipp Cocu’s men face a big decision if one of these clubs come in with a big bid before the end of the transfer window.
TBR’s view
Bogle is far from the finished product and he has a lot of work to do on his game. But it is easy to forget that he is still just a teenager – he has only just turned 19 – and he has plenty of potential.
Aston Villa already have James Breen, Ahmed Elmohamady and Frederic Guilbert competing for the right-back spot so Bogle might be seen as a first-team squad player with a view to breaking into the side in the near future.
At Newcastle, his arrival could force Javier Manquillo out of the exit door and he would compete with DeAndre Yedlin. Crystal Palace see Bogle as an Aaron Wan-Bissaka replacement while he could become a starter at Brighton under Graham Potter.
It is a tricky decision for Bogle if Derby do accept a bid. He is more likely to get game time with the Rams and develop his game but the lure of the Premier League could tempt him.
