Arsenal appear to have taken yet another step towards completing a deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk, with Sport Analytic in Ukraine reporting that the youngster has now spoken with Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners are working towards a deal for Mudryk. Reports from The Sun on Tuesday claimed that the Premier League leaders have made a second bid for the Shakhtar Donetsk star worth up to £62 million.

The report claimed that Arsenal want a deal for Mudryk wrapped up before Shakhtar travel to Turkey for a training camp early next week. That would also see the Gunners complete a move before they tackle the North London derby this month.
Mudryk has now spoken to Arteta
And it seems that Arteta is doing his bit to get a transfer across the line. Sport Analytic in Ukraine is now reporting that the Arsenal boss has held talks with Mudryk. The discussions focused on the role the forward would have in the Gunners squad.

Unsurprisingly, the report also suggests that the move is getting closer.
It appears that we are in the final straight when it comes to Arsenal making their move for Mudryk. They have swiftly made a second bid for the Ukraine international. And they hope to have a deal across the line in the next week – Shakhtar’s training camp starts next Tuesday.
Clearly, it is a move that all sides are open to. The Times has suggested that Mudryk has already agreed personal terms over a deal. And Shakhtar’s asking price appears to have dropped over the last few weeks.
It would be a huge boost for Arsenal to get a deal done. Mudryk is an ‘incredible‘ talent already making an impact in the Champions League, as well as the highest level in Ukraine.
And he could certainly play his part in helping the Gunners push for the Premier League title this season.
