Arsenal will hope to make it seven wins in a row in all competitions when they head to Leeds United on Sunday.

The Gunners are flying high, sitting top of the Premier League and of Group A in the Europa League.

The Whites took seven points from their opening three matches, but have failed to win their last five.

However, Arsenal could potentially be without Gabriel Jesus for the encounter.

Mikel Arteta confirmed that he’s a doubt for the match.

When asked whether the striker would play, the Gunners boss told the club media team: “I don’t know.

“Obviously he had some discomfort after the game against Liverpool. That’s why we decided not to bring him today.

“Let’s see how he is between tomorrow and Saturday.”

Now, according to Arsenal youth team expert Jeorge Bird, Arteta has called Khayon Edwards up to the squad.

The 19-year-old looks set to make a second consecutive matchday squad after travelling to Bodo/Glimt in midweek.

Edwards joined Arsenal aged five and has progressed up the ranks to become a key player for the Under-21s.

As per Jeorge Bird and football.london, he has developed a reputation for being a clinical centre-forward.

This season, Edwards has two goals and one assist from four Premier League 2 outings.

His Arsenal U21s record reads 10 games, three goals and two assists, while his U18 record reads 41 appearances, 23 goals and nine assists.

Football.london has reported that Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion made approaches to Edwards towards the end of last season, with his deal set to expire.

However, the striker – whose playing style been compared to that of Eddie Nketiah – went on to sign his first professional contract with Arsenal in May.
