Arsenal full-back Sead Kolasinac is attracting attention from Napoli ahead of the January transfer window, while Roma are eyeing a summer move for the left-back, according to a report from Sky Sports.
Kolasinac has made 14 appearances in the Premier League this season. And Sky Sports reports that he has more than two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the Emirates.
But the Bosnia and Herzegovina international may be offered the chance to leave the Gunners in the near future.
Sky Sports reports that the 26-year-old is wanted by new Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso in January. Meanwhile, Roma are considering a move for the summer when Aleksandar Kolarov moves on.
TBR View – Summer sale should appeal to Arsenal
Kolasinac – who earns £100,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – has featured regularly for the Gunners this term. However, Mikel Arteta should arguably be open to offers for the former Schalke man – but only ones that arrive in the summer.
Kieran Tierney looks set to miss the large majority of the season due to injury (via Sky Sports). So letting Kolasinac go in January would arguably be a mistake.
Tierney appears to have the potential to become Arsenal’s first-choice for several years to come. He has a point to prove after spending much of his spell to date on the sidelines. But he certainly has the quality.
If he can return and demonstrate his promise before the campaign concludes, Arsenal should have few qualms about letting Kolasinac leave the Emirates in the summer.
