Arsenal are set to send Konstantinos Mavropanos on loan to German second tier side FC Nurnberg for the rest of the season, according to a report from Greek outlet Sport 24.
The 22-year-old has made one appearance for the Gunners first-team this season. But he has been included on the bench three times in the Premier League this term.

With Calum Chambers set for a lengthy absence due to injury, Mavropanos may have wondered if an opportunity may present itself in the coming months. He had already been named in three of Mikel Arteta’s matchday squads.
However, it appears that he is still going to be on the move this month. Greek outlet Sport 24 reports that Mavropanos is set to join Nurnberg for the rest of the season.

Jens Keller’s men are struggling this term. They sit 16th in the table having been relegated from the Bundesliga last season.
TBR View – Tough spell for Mavropanos to catch the eye
A move to a side struggling in Germany’s second tier could be a brave one for Mavropanos. It is certainly not going to be easy for the centre-back to catch Arteta’s eye with his form.
An upturn in form for Nurnberg could be good news for the youngster ahead of his return to the Emirates. But it is arguably going to take something special to improve his prospects with his parent club.
