Goalkeeper Karl Hein is set to leave Arsenal on a free transfer now, Football London say.
On the way out
Hein has been offered new terms at Arsenal, but those contract talks are said to have stalled.
As a result it seems that his future will be elsewhere, in what could be a disappointing development for Arsenal.
With Hein’s contract set to expire next summer he will become a free agent.
That means Arsenal will only be entitled to a small compensation package for the teenager, who is highly regarded.
Senior squad call up
The young goalkeeper has been training with Arsenal’s senior squad for some time now, with the club clearly seeing him as a first-team player of the future.

But it now seems that his future could lie elsewhere at the Emirates Stadium.
That surely makes it unlikely that Hein will receive any game time in Arsenal’s senior side.
Arsenal have seen similar situations arise recently with Folarin Balogun, but they convinced the striker to put pen to paper eventually.
And Arsenal may well be hoping that they can do the same with Hein over the next 12 months, although that is looking increasingly doubtful.
