Report: Arsenal youngster Kido Taylor-Hart wanted by Championship and Bundesliga clubs

Arsenal youngster Kido Taylor-Hart is attracting interest from the Bundesliga and the Championship, according to Football London.

The youngster has been at the club since the age of 7 and recently made the step up to play for the under-23 team.

Injury hampered his progress last season and Taylor-Hart is yet to put pen-to-paper on a professional deal with Arsenal.

The winger typically operates on the left but the report claims the Gunners coaching staff have been impressed with his versatility.

Taylor-Hart has been playing frequently with the under-18s this season, scoring four goals and registering three assists.

Arsenal have a proud history when it comes to their academy stars stepping up to play first-team football.

The Gunners might fancy their chances of holding off competition from the Championship, but overseas clubs might have more pulling power.

Donyell Malen was one youngster who Arsenal failed to keep from the clutches of clubs abroad.

Although the Gunners did get a fee for the youngster, they were perhaps too keen to offload him to PSV where he is now excelling.

They won’t want to make the same mistake with Taylor-Hart and might need to move quickly.

TBR View – Arsenal should tie youngster to a professional deal

Taylor-Hart boasts rapid pace and the club only needs to look at the likes of Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah to see the talent they have in the academy.

With that in mind, the Gunners would be wise to get the winger tied down to a first professional deal and let him continue his development.

In Arteta, Arsenal now have a manager who is willing to place his faith in youth – and that could certainly bode well for Taylor-Hart.
