Arsenal are said to be pushing on with their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund defender, Dan-Axel Zagadou, according to Duncan Castles on the Transfer Window Podcast.
Zagadou, 21, is said to have been on the radar of Arsenal for some time now and Castles said on his podcast that he is a player that Mikel Arteta is a big fan of.
It is believed Arsenal can land Zagadou for around £25m due to his contractual situation. However, a serious injury has potentially scuppered any immediate deal, as the Gunners wait to see how his recovery goes.

The young Frenchman has already made over 70 appearances for Dortmund and is yet another off the strong production line of the world champions in recent seasons. Already capped at under-21 level, Zagadou is widely expected to go onto represent the full French team.
Arsenal are once again in the market for new players this summer. Zagadou, with his age and profile, fits the mold of player that both Edu and Arteta have been looking at in recent times.
TBR View: A real coup if Arsenal pull this one off
A lot will depend on how Zagadou recovers but he’s certainly a player worth looking at for the Gunners.
Dortmund supremo Michael Zorc has previously labelled Zagadou as someone with ‘enormous potential’, and it’s safe to say the German outfit know a player when they see one.
If Arsenal can pull this one off, it would be a real steal for the club in what is set to be competitive market this summer.
