Arsenal will not be following up their reported interest in Real Madrid midfielder, Isco, with the Spaniard set to join Juventus instead.
That is according to the Daily Star, who claim that while the Gunners are keen on Madrid starlet Vinicius Junior, they won’t be signing Isco on any sort of deal, loan or permanent.

The report claims Isco is set to join Juventus in January, with a loan deal looking the most likely option for the Spanish star. The playmaker will join former Madrid superstar, Ronaldo, in Turin.
It means Arsenal once again missing out a player they have been linked with for a number of weeks now. Mikel Arteta, seemingly desperate to solve his team’s creativity issues, had earmarked £123k-a-week star Isco as a potential signing.

However, it looks like it’s Juventus who have stolen a march on the Gunners, meaning Arteta must now look elsewhere to improve his squad.

Once again, it looks like Arsenal are missing out on the top players being linked with moves to The Emirates.
The signing of Isco was always going to split fans. On one hand, he’s out of form and has downed tools a bit in Madrid. But on the other side to that, he is a player of high quality with experience at the very highest level.
Juventus will be a better team for having Isco around so it does make you wonder just where Arsenal will go from here in January.
